Regular Periods, Got Late, Brown Discharge, History Of PID, Lost One Of The Tubes. Reason?

Hi I am 6 days late for my period which is normally very regular. I have Only ever missed when pregnant! However I have done numerous tests which are all negative. For the last couple of days I have had discharge (first pinkish now brown) I hoped this was going to develop into my period but still nothing. I am concerned about a possible ectopic pregnancy as I have a history of PID and lost one of my tubes and also leaving the second damaged and I was advised that I would be at increased risk. Nonetheless I have had 2 pregnancies since 1 I carried to full term the second I miscarried 3 months ago although it was in the right place!

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
Usually urine pregnancy test can give positive result in ectopic pregnancy also.
But sometimes it may not detect early pregnancy.
So you once consult gynecologist and go for ultrasound.
This will clarify the doubt about ectopic pregnancy.
Then possibly you will get periods soon.
If you want to avoid pregnancy, better to use some regular contraceptive method to avoid these problems in future.
Take care.
