Relocating, Have To Maintain Remicade Regular Infusion Schedule. What Is The Best Way ?

I am moving from Delaware to Ohio in one month; as I am on Remicade, it is important that I maintain a regular infusion schedule and I will be due again one week after I arrive in Ohio. What is the best way to find a gastroenterologist to administer or at least write orders for this from a long distance when I don't know anyone in Ohio?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Thanks for your Query.
It is very simple to find the Gastroenterologist in Ohio. Just ask for an help from your family doctor or Gastroenterologist to refer some gastroenterologist in Ohio to continue your Remicade. If the gastroenterologist in Ohio is well known to your Family doctor, it will be better for you to continue the treatment without any delay for further investigations.
Take care
