Removed Colon, Rectum, Gallbladder. Abdominal Pain, Blood In Stool, Burning Throat. What Is It?
Doctor I'm 59 yrs old. I had my colon removed the age of 24 and rectum removed 4yrs later. Last August I had my gallbladder removed. I'm having abdominal pains now, feels like my stomach & have been getting bleeding in my stool, when I empty my bag from my ileostomy. Also I've been experiencing a burning feeling at times coming up my throat. Please tell me what your guesses might be. I'm probably going to ER tonight. Thanks Eddie
Hi ,You have not told for what problem you underwent these surgeries. Some of the syndromes have associated small intestinal involvement like Polyps which can bleed sometimes.U may need ileoscopy and other investigations . I hope this will help you.
