My daughter's report of the scan is below. Give me description about it which I can understand. I am not aware of medical terms. Report of 4D Ultrasound Scan Single intra uterine gestation in cephalic presentation, foetal spine on left side. Placenta is upper segment, anterior. Grade III maturity. Liquor is adequate for gestational age. Foetal cardiac activity and movements are seen. Foetal biophysical profile is satisfactory. No obvious congenital anomalies seen. Cervix is normal. Int.os is closed. LMP -12/10/2010 GA / LMP -38 weeks 2 days BPD - 9.38cm 38 weeks 1 day HC - 33.43cm 38 weeks 2 days AC - 34.25cm 38 weeks 1 day FL - 7.29cm 37 weeks 2 days AVG -38 weeks EDD / LMP -19/07/2011 EDD / CUA -21/07/2011 EFBW -3361gm HR - 152bpm. DOPPLER Right uterine artery shows normal colour flow, spectral pattern and peak velocity. Left uterine artery could not be sampled. No diastolic notch seen. Doppler indices in the umbilical artery and MCA are within normal limts. Umbilical vein showed non pulsatile wave form, UMB ART MCA PI - 1.05 1.40 S/D- 3.00 4.08 S/D- 3.00 4.08 IMPRESSION 1. SINGLE, LIVE, INTRA UTERINE GESTATION IN CEPHALIC PRESENTATION, CORRESPONDING TO 38 WEEKS. 2. NO SIGNIFICANT UTERO PLACENTAL OR FOETO PLACENTAL INSUFFICIENCY SEEN.
