Rib Pain While Shivering With Cold. What Is The Cause?
When im cold , i always start to shiver, and when i do my ribs always start hurting, both sides. Sometimes its really bad but soemtimes its only a little pain, depending on how much im shivering . My friends say its because im really skinny but im not, im an average weight and i know people that are majorly skinny and they dont get it, please help.

Shivering is common in cold. However, rib hurting is not a common phenomenon with shivering. Maybe you are sensitive to colds and thereby have inflammation in your lower airways leading to chest tightness and thereby pain. Also you may have lung sacs thickening due to some past lung disease which rub against each other during shivering causing friction and thereby pain.
