Right Nasal Mass Maxillary Involvement, Nasal Septum Is Deviated Towards Left. What Is CT PNS And A Surgery-free Solution?

hello Dr. i had a paranasal sinus x-ray and they told me i have a right nasal mass R/o maxillary involvement.
they told me that my nasal septum is deviated towards the left and that the mass extended into the ipsilateral ethmoid sinus.they recommended a CT PNS to characterize the mass.

qn. what do they mean by CT PNS and can i have a surgery-free solution?

Hi,
Thanks for contacting HCM
You have Right nasal mass with deviated nasal septum towards left, definitely it requires the CT PNS to characterize the mass.
CT PNS- A computed tomography (CT) scan is an imaging method that uses x-rays to create pictures of cross-sections of the Paranasal Sinuses.
Mode of treatment depends on the CT finding.
Thanks
