Road Rash On Chin And Upper Lip, Yellow Discharge. Should I Clean It With Peroxide And Water?
a couple of nights ago I faceplanted leaving me with road rash on my chin and upper lip. i've been cleaning it with peroxide and water then topping it with anitseptic ointment. its in a difficult spot to cover with a bandage. my only concern is if i should be cleaning off the yellow oozing thats forming? or should i continue to just keep it moist?

Hi,
It seems that there is some infection at local site giving you this problem.
You may require oral antibiotic medicine course for healing after consulting your doctor.
Once healing will start, oozing will automatically stop.
Apply antibiotic cream locally after proper cleaning the wound.
Ok and take care.
