Rock Hard Lump On Surface Of Skin Close To Armpit, Not Moving. Normal Ultrasound. Any Ideas?
about two months ago my husband was rubbing my back and noticed a small nb sized rock hard lump on the surface of my skin on my back but closer to my armpit. It is pink in color, has no "head", does not move, and I cannot feel it. I am 33, have an extensive health history, and recently had a bilateral mammo and ultrasound tht resulted well. What can this be? Thanks.
Hi! when any swelling occurs around armpit I first of all try to rule out breast lesions in a female patient. It is good that you got USG and mammography done and they turned out normal. Another common cause is lipoma but that is usually soft and smooth possibility in your case is of cyst.many kinds of harmless cysts are found in back region.I would advice a FNAC if the cyst shows any enlargement, and not to worry!
