my daughter has a round shaped rash I think on her outer thigh. It is red and blistery looking and a has a bit of pus on it that is visible. Like I said, I think it is a rash and not ringworm. HELP. she says it burns. I have cleaned it with oxide and put bacitracin ointment it..keeping it covered with bandage or gauze..

Hi..
Thanks for the query..
From the signs you told, it may not be a ring worm..
It could be a superficial skin infection which are generally self limiting leaving scars sometimes..
You can start her on oral antibiotics and tablets/syrup paracetemol for pain relief..
Observe and if it is increasing, consult a doctor for a better treatment.
Hope I answered your query..
Take care...
