Safe To Have Low Dose Of Ambien With Lavender Pills For Sleeping Problem Due To Anxiety?

Hi, I am currently having a lot of trouble sleeping stemming from anxiety. I started taking a low dose of ambien on Friday but can not sleep. So Per doctors orders I am doubling my dose tonight. along with lavender pills during the day to keep me calm. ?? What have you heard about lavender pills and can i also put lavender oil in my bath or is this too much

There is no problem in combining ambien and lavender pills.

But i have some suggestions for you which will help you in improving your sleep:

1. Avoid napping during the day.
2. Avoid stimulants such as caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol too close to bedtime.
3. A relaxing exercise, like yoga, can be done before bed to help initiate a restful night's sleep.
4. Stay away from large meals close to bedtime.
5. Ensure adequate exposure to natural light. Light exposure helps maintain a healthy sleep-wake cycle.
6. Establish a regular relaxing bedtime routine. Try to avoid emotionally upsetting conversations and activities before trying to go to sleep.
7. Associate your bed with sleep. It's not a good idea to use your bed to watch TV, listen to the radio, or read.
