Pediatrician 's  Response

Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.

It could be gastro esophageal reflux disease. (GERD).

A lower esophageal Ph monitoring is useful in confirming the diagnosis.

H2 blocking drugs or proton pump inhibitors prescribed by your doctor will help.
Some time prokinetics may help

Continue to ask further queries as required.
Hope this helps.
Take care.

your age also matters , other causes are hypothyroidism if around 50 years.
