Scalp Red When Exposed To A Water Based Chemical Color, Lost Many Hair. Any Suggestions ?
My scalp was exposed to a water based chemical color, which was red in color during holi last year (red- mercury sulphite). After an hour, i washed my scalp with shampoo and almost half of my hair fell out. I thought , i would get my hair back naturally in 2-3 months, but that didnt happen.
Now , i have to live with a disfigured look, which makes my life depressing. No pattern baldness history run in my family at least for the last 3 generation which i know. Hope to get some helpful suggestion from you.

You have got allergic reaction to color.Due to allergy there is change in hair cycle and some of your hair follicles are in telogen (resting) phase and they are falling down.This cycle will usually gets back within 2 to 3 months but in some cases there is arrest in this process.This is known as chronic telogen effluim.
Start taking biotin and calcium pantothenate containing tablets and apply minoxidil lotion .This will help you in regaining your hair fall.
