Scan Done. Reports Got. What Does The Findings Mean?

Hi. I have notes from my doctor. Would just like to know what they mean. Tiny intrauterine sac is noted with suggested yokk sac. The mean sac diameter is 8mm. No intrauterine fetal sold or fetal pole or fetal heart beat is detected. No adnexal collection, mass or free fluid detected.
Right ovary contains a 26mm corpus luteum cyst ovarian volumes are 4.4cc on the left and 20cc on the right.
Small cystic structure in the endometrial cavity it May reflect an early intrauterine gestation although viability is not confirmed com occasionally a pseudosac of ectopic pregnancy can mimic this appearance.

Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

It is sad to hear that your fetus is not viable and report suggests that

1.Tiny intrauterine sac is noted with suggested yolk sac.

Yolk sac is normal finding in early gestation.

2.No intrauterine fetal sold or fetal pole or fetal heart beat is detected. No adnexal collection, mass or free fluid detected.

It means fetal pole is not seen in ultrasound and heart beat is also not detected. G-sac like structure may be early intrauterine gestational sac without viability or it may be false sac of ectopic pregnancy.

3.In right ovary there is luteal cyst and this is normal.
Other findings are normal.
Hope you have understand the terms.

Take Care
