Scar Tissue Underneath Upper Lip Tender And Hung Up On Brackets

I have scar tissue underneath my upper lip. (inside mouth) An accident (Jan 4th) meant stitches were necessary to repair my lip and gum. I am wearing braces on 6 teeth because some of the teeth moved in the accident. The scar tissue is tender and gets hung up on the brackets. It also is thick enough to push my upper lip forward on the right side. Do you have any suggestions?

Hello,

Thank you for writing to HCM

How old is your scar?

Since its in your oral cavity, it in tend for more irritation with food and braces.
Take tablet serratidapeptidase once daily for one week.
Don't eat spicy food for few days.
Consult a dentist (OMFS) for further management and cosmetic issues.

Regards
