Sclera Of Eye Is Blood Red, Have Heart Defect, Have Palpitations. Related?

I woke up this morning and half of my left eye (just the sclera) is blood red. I have a heart defect (a missing leaflet in a valve) and my cardiologist is about to run a stress echo on me in near future. Been having more heart palpitations than usual this morning too. Is the eye a sign that my heart is getting worse or just unrelated

Red eye it could be congestion or a haemorrhage in conjunctiva for your valve are you taking any medicine or antiplatelet drugs like asprin or clopidogrel some time cause spontaneously or may be minor truma ? if no it may be unrelated and seasonal conjuctivitis.
