Scratchy Throat And Itchy Ears. Histroy Of Contact With Person With Tonsilitis. Advice

Hello,

I am concerned about a scratchy throat that won't go away. My co-worke recently had tonsillitis. As a result, I think i developed swollen tonsils/taste buds from contact with him while at work. The tonsils and taste buds are no longer swollen but my scratchy throat persists. I have been taking tea, orange juice and fluids but to no avail, even though I am feeling a bit better. I am wondering if it could me more serious than expected. My ears also feel itchy. Please advise

First tonsilitis is not infectious disease .take antihistamine tablets along with azithromycin500 bd .do some gargle with Luke warm water with dispirin feel better .uncontrolable chew logenes like strepsills .feel better .
