Scratchy Throat, Tightness In Chest, Mouth Ulcer, Voice Not Normal. Should I See A Doctor?

I have had a persistently scratchy (only sometimes sore) throat and a feeling of tightness in upper chest without any cough for about four weeks now. This was preceded by mouth ulcers which I had never experienced before. I also got hoarse for a few days and almost lost my voice. My voice still does not sound normal. Should I see my general doctor ?

You need thorough examination and evaluation.
Just consult to ENT specialist, undergo flexible videolaryngoscopy and examine the larynx for any abnormality.
Till then take complete voice rest, steam inhalation.

As you have
Scratchy throat
Mouth ulcer
voice not normal (got hoarse for a few days and almost lost my voice.)
Most probably this suggests the acute laryngitis with oropharyngitis, please consult the ENT specialist for better diagnosis and rule out the other cause for same symptoms .
