Sebaceous Cysts, Hard Acne Like Surface Over Skin. Treatment?

What is the remedy for Sebaceous cyst! Its been around in my chets for 4 years... It has not swollen but it forms a hard acne like surface over the skin.. Is that because of sweating? or should take any medicine or apply oinments over that?

Thanks for writing to us.
I presume that the lesion you have is a sebaceous cyst. It is a benign cystic lesion underneath skin containing an oily cheesy substance characterised by a central dark punctum that many people mistake as a blackhead. Treatment involves surgically excising the lesion if large or using cryotherapy or Electrocautery to destroy the lesion if small. I would advise that you meet a Dermatosurgeon or surgeon for the same
