Severe Cough, Chest X-ray Showed Prominent Broncho-vascular Markings In Both Lung Fields. Suggestion?
Age 37-Female At the age of 20 had miner infection of TB,cured by whole year medication Now having coughing problem (mostly over now),no other problem Doctor says not to worry the markings are pre cured calcium deposits. But chest exray report shows following. Please advise Prominent broncho vascular markings seen in both lungs field. Both costophrenic angles are free Cardiac size and configuration appear normal Domes of diaphraragm are normal Thoracic cage appears normal
I hope you are not a smoker because prominent broncho vascular markings are seen in them. Do you suffer from any allergy or have recurrent chest infections. If you are a smoker, you should quit at the earliest, otherwise nothing more needs to be done presently.
Hi
you need not worry for the prominent bronchovascular markings as respiratory infection you have suffered recently may be the reason for its promonence and it will subside. As long as you are not symptomatic no need to worry.Hope i have answered your doubt.
