Severe Headache, Fever, Chills And Watery Discharge. Underwent Colposcopy And Biopsies 5 Days Ago. Is This Normal?

One day after I underwent a colposcopy and biopsies, a headache occurred. It persists until today (5th day). It is severe and gets worse with every movement. It is ongoing day and night. 3rd day after the procedure, my fever started raising until 38 degrees I feel cold most of the time. THE watery discharge that my doc told me to expect is still there on the fifth day and heavily. Is a all this normal??? Thank you for your time.

Greetings of the day
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic

Watery discharge through rectum is quite common and may persists for a week, no cause of concern if there is no pain in abdomen and bowel movement are alright.

Suggest you to get thorough workup with your physician to know the cause of fever. Taking analgesic like paracetamol may provide the much needed relief

Take care
