Severe Itching Behind The Knees, Swollen Penis. What Is It?
Yes sir, I am a 52 year old male who is experiencing severe itching behind the knees and front of my right leg. Recently improved the same symptoms in the growing area and me penis is extremely swollen. There is now a clear fluid coming out of the affected areas. Can you give give me an idea what it is? I have an appointment with my primary care physician in the morning but am terrified
I understand your concerns. The severe itching behind your knees may not be related to the swollen penis. The itching for whatever reason should be treated symptomatically using antihistaminic drugs. The common medication used in my practice include chlorpheniramine maleate (available as Avil in many countries). It has minimal side effects. I believe that the swollen penis may be related to having had an injury during sexual activity or due to infection which needs to be treated. However, examination by a PCP with whom you have an appointment today will give you the right answers. I hope this helps.
Take care and have a lovely day!
