Severe Pain And Numbness In Arm After Being Electrocuted. On Nuronton Anti Seizure Medication. Is There Anything That Can Be Done?
My daughter, 34, was electrocuted at work from plugging in a computer, she was holding the plug and touched the back of the computer. She is having excrutiating pain in her arm and has alot of numbness in her hand is unable to make a fist or use her hand. She was given nuronton(sp) which is an anti-seizure med because they said narcotics do not help with nerve pain. Is there anything else she can do for the pain? This pain may not be due to the electric shock but may be something else if the pain is the only concern then I would advise to try simple NSAID first this could give best result some times and the Diclofenac with Acetaminophen tab would give good result along with that, alprazolam can be tired 0.5 mg at bed time, have nice day.
