Severe Pain During Ovulation, Scar During Ovarian Cyst Removal Nicked The Bladder. What To Do ?
my 30 year old daughter had an ovarian cyst removed about 10 years ago. a few years later she had her appendix removed laporoscopically. they went in throught the scar made by the cyst removal surgery which had adhered to her bladder. this nicked her bladder. ever since she began menstruating she has had severe pain during ovulation. her gynecologist now says she is able to feel something during examination and thinks it is scar tissue. 2 pelvic sonograms reveal nothing. what do we do?
Hi, Thank you for choosing Healthcaremagic. If your daughter is not having any urinary problem, or any urine leak from vagina, nothing to be done. As you gynaec said rightly it could be scar tissue. For painful menstruation she can take some antispasmodic medications. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. In case of any doubt, I will be available for follow-ups.
