Severe Pain In Jaw, Ear, Neck With Dizzy Spells And Little Blood Discharge From Outside Canal Of Ear. History Of Tinnitus. Suggestions?

Several times over the past few months I have noticed a small amount of fresh blood on the cotton swab used to clean my right ear, from just the outside edge of the canal, including this morning. I also have tinnitus (for many years, no changes) and have had worsening pain in the right jaw, ear and neck/throat for the past couple of months. A check with the dentist has found no concerns. I also have increasingly severe dizzy spells, at varying times of the day, not positional. Should I be concerned? I will see my GP in two weeks for a general physical. Any suggestions?

Hi,

Based from the information provide it seems that you probably suffering from either MINÈARE 'S DISEASE or labyrinthitis.

It can be treated with simple over the counter "cyclizine" / meclizine drug. But before taking the drug its better to be checked by ENT specialist.

ADVICE: Consult near by ENT specialist and get checked for the minèare's disease or labyrinthitis.
