Severe Pain In The Stomach, Spotting. Reason?

I was supose to start my period today but about 4 days ago i bled a little enough to cover the tip of the tampon i stopped bleeding. this came with extreme pains in my stomach. I stopped bleed for about 20 hours then went to void and a thick mucous watery light pink/purple discharge came out this happened about 4 times. i am also discharging alot or watery liquid throughout the day. what is this?

Thanks for the query.

The possible causes are:
-Local lesions like cervical erosion with blood and mucus discharge.
-Intermenstrual spotting due to hormonal imbalance with accompanying white discharge.
-Early onset of periods with minimal flow.
If the pain and bleeding persists better to consult gynecologist once and get examined to find out the actual cause for the problem.
And take treatment accordingly.
