Severe Sunburn On Nose, Blisters And Scab On Left Side Of Nose. Using Neosprin And Aloe Vera. Time To Heal?

Hi, I fell asleep on the boat the other day and now have some severe sun burns on my nose for the first time in my life. I've got blisters all over my nose, and one of the blisters, on the left side, was popped and I guess I pulled off the covering skin while blowing my nose. Now I'm left with a bunch of blisters as well as a huge "scab" on the left side of my nose. What should I do besides neosporin and aloe vera, and how long should it take to grow that skin back (and also lose discoloration?) and how long will it take for the blisters to go away. I've dealt with it for about 3 days now.

Hello,
Welcome to Healthcaremagic. Avoiding exposure to Bright sunlight to prevent sunburns. Cold compress on affected area with cold water greatly reduce the pain and inflammation. Aloe Vera is a very good natural medicine that rehydrate the sunburns and help in preventing further skin injury. Do not peel the covered skin scab of sunburn blister as it may increase the scarring and time of healing process. Just wash the blisters with antibiotic soap solution.

Take care.
