Hello Mrs. Langley and welcome to Healthcare Magic. Thanks for your query.
Symptoms such as tiredness / fatigue, inability to concentrate, lack of energy / drive, poor sleep, etc. after the childbirth could be indicative of a post-natal depression. This can happen in about 10 % of women in the first few months after childbirth. However, there can be other medical conditions like anaemia, high sugars, high BP, thyroid disorders, and even heart problems, which can cause these symptoms.
So, I would suggest that you have a proper medical evaluation to rule out these conditions. If it turns out to be a post-natal depression, then there are effective treatment options available in the form of medication or psychological therapies which can help you come out of this phase soon.
Best wishes,
Dr. Sheeba Stephen
