Sexual Intercourse With Partner, Sharp Pain, Severe Dark Red Vaginal Bleeding. Treatment Options?

I had sex with my boyfriend today and during intercourse i felt a little sharp pain lasted maybe 5seconds i thought nothing of it until he said that i was bleeding , major bleeding like it was all over the sheets dark red, contunious amount of major blood , this was two hours ago but i am STILL bleeding, not as much but i am. Any thoughts?

Hi thanks for posting your question.
The commonest causes of bleeding during sex or after sex is cervicitis ( inflammation of cervix), cervical polyp,endometrosis,vaginitis and finally uterine fibroids.All these condition require examination by a gynaecologist to establish the diagnosis.I would suggest you to get yourself examined by a gynaecologist,who may be able to tell you what is the exact cause of bleeding during sexual intercourse.
