Sharp Pain Buttocks, Unable To Sit, Lie. No Visible Bumps. Reason?

Two days ago, I had no pain in the area what so ever. Yesterday, there was an annoying but manageable pain about half an inch into the crack of my buttocks. Now, I can't even sit or lie normally without a sharp pain in the area mentioned. I have checked multiple times throughout the day and there have been no visible signs of a bump, however I think I can feel one and it hurt when I touched the area. Someone thinks that I simply sat on something and its sore, is this possible? Should I see a doctor?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
It could be because of some local boil which may not be visible at this stage only small part would be swelled, you can try Ibuprofen 400 mg twice day with hot water fermentation at least couple of days, I generally follow this in my patient if nothing is visible but the nature of pain and appearance of area are indicative of any boil, and it come around if it does not go away then you need to be examined, have nice day.
