Sharp Pain In Heart, Heart Pumping Faster After Closing Eyes. What Could Be This?

For the past couple of months I get sharp pains in my heart it can happen any Time in the day mostly at work, but I've been trying to go to sleep tonight for nearly 3hours now and every time I close my eyes my heart starts pumping really fast and I can hear it quit loudly there's no pain at all it just goes so fast its really scaring me.

Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Palpitation ( tachycardia, simply we call it increase in heart rate or beat)
If pain is more than 30 seconds and regular it is alarming and be aware of this.
From the last many days you are feeling such type of things.
If pain is there i. e. something wrong because PAIN is a warning to patient that take necessary step as disease is very near.
So in your case please consult a physician and get in examination of blood for lipid profiles, sugar, cpk, S G O T, S G P T.
Echo of heart with 12 lead E C G, treadmill test.
Due to pain you have developed anxiety , so please relax and think that you are normal till doctor decide what is wrong with you.
