Sharp Pain In Lower Left Abdomen, Stabbing Pain On Walking. Treatment Options?
Hi I m 16 years old and recently I been having these sharp pains in my lower left abdominal . I m not on my period or pregnant . It just started happening to days ago, I can barely sleep walk or move it hurts really bad. It s a stabbing pain worse than cramps , if I touch it nothing happens. It just hurts on the inside of my body .
It would be helpful if you give some details about your diet and also about your stool.
You can take antacid like Ranitidine 150 mg twice a day along with pain killer like Mefenamic acid and antispasmodic like Dicycloverine after discussing with your doctor.
You should also get yourself investigated for :-
1. Complete Blood Count (CBC).
2. Kidney Function Test.
3. Ultrasound Abdomen.
4. Urine examination.
5. Stool examination.
Furthur treatment can be planned according to the reports of the above investigations.
Avoid spicy foods. You should drink lots of pure water(8-10 glasses in a day).
If the problem persists, get yourself examined clinically.
I hope this is helpful to you.
Thanks.
