Hi!good evening doctor,i had been taking co diovan 160 mg.plus amlor 5mg for such a long time now ,sometimes my blood pressure peaks ,and it reach the reading of 160/110...when i take my meds.i felt ok ,there are times my b/p reads 120/70 then i felt dizzy ,and of course i dont take my meds, when its down.is it right for me not to take my meds .when the blood pressure reading is normal?i need your advice thank you.
Hello. I can very well understand your concern. Well BP management is a continuous process, one need to take medicine on regular basis. Too BP readings can fluctuates on daily basis, if your BP is 120/70 while you are on BP medicine then you need to take medicine regularly. Here i suggest you to know the cause of high BP. Have moderate amount of salt and oily stuff in your diet. Do atleast 30 minutes of leasure walking, that will help you control your BP. Hope it helped.
