Should Bactoclav Be Discontinued Due To Loose Motion?

My baby is of 5 months and suffering from cold and cough. Dr. Has prescribe bactoclav 3.5ml 2 times a day for 5 days. But now loose motion started bcoz of bactoclav. Should I continue giving the same or go for any other medicine. Can use maxtra instead of it.
