Should Candiforce 100mg Be Taken On An Empty Stomach Or After Meals?

hi, I was advised to take candiforce 100mg by my dermatologist for hair fall and dandruff problem. I was told to take the medicine twice a day for 2 weeks, after breakfast and dinner. But on the internet i found that the medicine must be taken on empty stomach. Which one is correct?

Thanks for using HCM.
Candiforce is the brand name of the antifungal medicine called itraconazole.
Your doctor told the right thing and candiforce should be taken after food.When you take this drug in an empty stomach it may interact with acid in the stomach and only a little portion of the drug reach the blood circulation,also you may develop gastritis when you take candiforce before food.
One more thing you should keep in mind that if you use candiforce oral solution it must be taken one hour before food.
So in short CANDIFORCE CAPSULE AFTER FOOD,CANDIFORCE SOLUTION BEFORE FOOD
