I was on provera in the beginning of July this year and my my cycle came down on the third day of taking the Provera. Now I'm on provera again and my period didn't come down I had a brown thick discharge instead of a normal red. Should I continue with clomid on the 5th day???

HI,
Provera is a contraceptive that avoids ovum maturity & ovulation .
Changes in menstrual pattern is a known side effect of the drug.

While clomid is to stimulate ovulation. It helps conception.

If at all you want to plan for pregnancy, you should not start with Clomid, till the provera is totally withdrawn & periods resume normal pattern ( It may take a couple of months )
Thanks.
