Should Galvus Met Be Used At The Present Dosage?

I am using Galvusmet 50/500 for the last Month before I started my Blood sugar was 282 and now I have started a diet and excersise program and using one tablet before breakfast. My blood sugar in the morning is around 90-100 and two hours after it reads under 130. My question should I continue to use this strength and for how long?and also is it safe to use for a long period? Thanks

Dear sir i can understand your concerns
in my opinion galvus et is a very good medication to begin with in diabetes type 2.
i am very happy to see that your diabetes is coming under control.
i should congratulate you for adapting good life style to control diabetes.

this medication is not having any side effects except for slight abdominal discomfort and bloating.
usually those medication needs to be continued for 3 months and check for Hba1c% and once Hba1c% is showing favorable results its advisable to take plain metformin instead of galvus met.
