Should Hibiclens Strictly Be Avoided From The Genital Area?

Hi. In reading about the proper use of Hibiclens it always warns "not to be used in the genital area." This concerns me because what if in the course of using it in the shower (for example applying it to the abdomen or inner thigh) and then in rinsing it off, some of the 'run-off' washes over the male genitals? Is that a problem or are they speaking of specifically applying it to the genitals? Thank you.
