Should I Be Concerned About A Cracking Sound In My Ankle After Missing A Step, Even Though There S No Pain, Swelling, Or Redness?

Hello! I was walking down the stairs in home and I missed a step. Just grazed the back of my left ankle but now it s making a cracking sound whenever I rotate/point & flex it. There s no pain or any redness or swelling. And nothing feels damaged. Should I be concerned and do I need to go to my local ER?
