Should I Be Concerned About Blurred Vision During Recovering From Bursted Blood Vessel In The Eye?

Hi Dr Grief, I sneezed a lot last week and burst a blood vessel in my eye. It was getting better. Then cleaning my horse stalls, sawdust blew in it. I did not rub it. I flushed it out. Been putting eye drops in. Feels a little better, but still very blood shot. It's a little blurry and runny. Not sure if I should be concerned about the blurry. What do you think? Diana

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having bursted blood vessel and this condition is most probably sub-conjunctival hemorrhage.
Sub-conjunctival hemorrhage does not cause blurring of vision. Subconjunctival hemorrhage is a self resolving condition and it takes about 2-3 weeks for clearing up.

Hence blurring of vision is not related to bursted blood vessel and this requires examination by your doctor and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
