Should I Be Concerned About Constant Pain And Heat In My Finger After A Minor Drill Bit Injury Near The Knuckle?

I was working on a project and poked my finger (left pointer finger on the side of the knuckle) with a small drill bit. It barely bled. Now it hurts really and feels a little hot to the touch. I have iced it today. It is a constant pain and bending my finger is very painful. What do I do? Should I be concerned?
