Should I Be Concerned About Persistently High Immature Platelet Fraction Levels On My Blood Work, Hip And Muscle Pain?

I m a 62 yr female my blood work the (immature platelet fraction,)has been coming back high for over a year now. I have hip pain and muscle pain I don t know if this has anything to do with the abnormal blood work or not. Is this test anything to worry about or just ignore it? I can t seem to get a straight answer from my doctor about this question. I did have lung cancer in 2012 and all of my scans have been coming back normal. I just want a answer about this particular test and what it means if anything.
