Should I Be Concerned About Puss Oozing, Wart Like Sore, Following An Injury, On My Child's Knee?

My 7 year old daughter has had a wart like sore on her knee for several months. Last week it was filled with pus and appeared to be going away. She fell and bruised her same knee two days ago and now there appears to be another spot about the width of her pinky on the same knee that was filled with pus tonight. What could this be and should I make an appt with her pedi or a dermatologist?

Thanks,
Kelly

Hi. Wart like sore without any previous history can be a wart. Secondary infection is possible as the child plays around so much that they do not know where trivial injury has occurred. With the history of injury and another same spot should be shown to a dermatologist.
