Should I Be Concerned About Skipping Heartbeats Without Dizziness?

I have notice my heart skip a beat this evening once every minute or two. I am not feeling any ill effects such as dizziness, or anything else. I am 76 yrs. old and in excellent health, active, is this something I should be concerned about? No history of high blood pressure, etc.

Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

See an Internist / get yourself examined / at times, basic investigation may be necessary...

This is probably benign, especially when associated with normal ECHO and may not require treatment. If you also have symptoms like blurred vision, dizziness, loss of consciousness, shortness of breath, chest pain along with this, you need urgent work up

EKG / HOLTER (24 to 48 hour ambulatory monitoring) / ECHOcardiogram / TMT (Treadmill exercise ECG) / LABORATORY work-up – may all be necessary to rule out any underlying problem.

Good luck
Take care
Wishing all well
God bless
