Should I Be Concerned About The Findings In The Blood Report(fasting) Taken After Placement Of Stents?

Hi I had 3 stents put in December 2013. Bloods have been fine right up until 16/10/2013. Went yesterday my haemoglobin is 17.9. Red cell count 5.65 and haemocrit 52.3 percent. All other red blood counts are normal. Any reason for concern. I fasted 12 hours before bloods. Seeing my cardio for annual check up next. Wednesday. Any reason for concern ? Many thanks

hi, you should be happy with your blood reports. They are absolutely fine. A hematocrit >55% or hb >18 ALONG WITH symptoms of peripheral tingling and recurrent headaches may point to viscocity problem of blood. In your case, it is not so. hope this helped.
