Should I Be Concerned About The Redness And Lingering Bruise From A Steroid Injection, Or Is It Likely Normal?

I received a steroid injection on Thurs. The first spot they tried for my IV had not blood return, so they did a second one on the other hand, that worked. The first one bruised and was sore, no big deal. This morning, 4 days later, the area is still bruised, but there are also two red places on my hand now. It’s not swollen or hot. The only soreness is in the spot where the needle went in. I’m just concerned about the redness, bc I have had a surgery incision become infected, and I want to avoid that! Thank you so much!
