Should I Be Concerned About The Sore Throat After Tongue Biopsy?

I had a tongue biopsy yesterday morning. I have one stitch in my tongue. The growth was on the right side right at the back of my tongue on the side. I have an excruciating sore throat and am finding it so hard to swallow tonight. Should I be concerned?

Hi. Yes, you should be concerned as a simple biopsy of tongue can not in a normal course cause such a pain. Please see your ENT Specialist to rule out any other problem.
