Hello,
You have a history of having
heavy periods and anemia. You are sexually active, never had
spotting between periods before. Your pregnancy test is negative. Some causes of such symptoms are benign, like hormonal imbalance or fibroids, especially with clotting and heavy cycles. But persistent spotting with clots and bloating, needs gynecologic evaluation.
Even after negative pregnancy tests that are reassuring, other uterine or ovarian conditions need to be ruled out. Benign uterine growth can cause heavy bleeding, clots, and spotting between periods, as well as pressure or bloating. Similar symptoms will show for ovarian cysts,
adenomyosis, or clotting disorders.
Before you start developing symptoms like soaking more than one pad per hour
with severe abdominal pain or cramping. Dizziness, fainting, or
shortness of breath you are advised to get clinically examine by a gynecologist. You require to get pelvic exam and
ultrasound done to detect fibroids, polyps, or ovarian cysts.
Get blood work like CBC (for anemia), hormone panel tests done. Test for benign tumors like fibroid or cysts as well. To get rid of heartburn and bloating, you can take antacids and increase fiber in diet. You are advised to eat iron rich food and stay adequately hydrated. Avoid
constipation.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
