Should I Be Concerned For Addison S Disease Until I Meet An Endocrinologist?
I have Addison s disease and unable to reach my endocrinologist to ask question about message left for me stating that my potassium level is critical . Any suggestions as to what I can do until I can reach the endocrinologist tomorrow . is this a serious concern overnight? Thank you for any help you can give me.

Game of electrolytes specially potassium is a serious issue and mild derangement can fry the conduction system of the heart and i am sure these issues need not to wait for an endocrinologist's opinion, a simple rush to ER and simple electrolyte panel with measure after that would be enough to make you there available for your endocrinologist opinion for addisons. Till that Electrolytes levels will be critical and worth monitoring.
