Should I Be Concerned For Cervix Thinning At 27 Weeks Pregnancy?
Hello, my son just called and said that he and his wife were told at their apt today that her cervix is thinning...the doctor wants her to go on bed rest and come in again on Friday for an additional test...she is 27 weeks....I am so worried...will she be ok...is the doctor able to stich it somehow to hold the baby in....they said the doctor was concerned about early labor ... I'm worried that the baby will come now and it is too soon ....thank you for your help ...

Doctor has given the right advise to take rest and certain intervention can be done if needed.
Cervical cerclage can be done depending upon findings.
