Should I Be Concerned For Child Having Heartbeat Rate Of 156?

My son is 3 years old and has a bad fever. He was in emergency yesterday and was prescribed Amoxicillin for a chest/throat infection. His heart rate today is 156 and he has had children s motrine and his amoxicillin. Should I take him into emergency again?

Dear sir

Children usually have a increased heart beats, but it may vary upto 150 beats per minutes.

I dont think it might be of concern, but if there is any signs of cyanosis, clubing and other congenital heart disease then it is of concern.

So for all these things you need to consult your cardiologist once if you feel there is some abnormality
